PARADISE...Week 2!

We arrived in Maui feeling relaxed from our week on Oahu. We were looking forward to some good family time enjoying the things we love to do in Maui!

We went to one of our favorite restaurants "Leilani's".

We went to one of our favorite places, the "Olivine Pools"! It is different every time! It is really amazing that there are tide pools deep enough to swim in with the ocean raging just on the other side of the rocks! Beautiful! It is a short hike down to the pools.

When we were done with the Olivine Pools, we headed to Napili Bay. This was a new place for us to go. We loved the beach here and the water was clear and blue. We had a wonderful relaxing time.

John and I ate at "Mama's Fish House" that night. One of our favorite restaurants. Great view, great food and even better company. The girls hung out at the condo that night.

The next day we headed out to Wailea Beach. Hurricane Felicia was headed our way, so we were determined to get to as many beaches as possible before the storm hit.

Went to dinner at 'Roy's" that night with the family!

We spent the next day at our resort and then headed to Lahaina for dinner. We went for a walk that night along the path by our resort. There are hammocks all along the beach so we decided to have a "family hammock moment". We are so blessed because we have such a great time together!!

We headed out to Napili Bay again. One of our new favorite beaches!

With the threat of Hurricane Felicia coming in we got in a few last rays for the day. By the time she hit Maui she had been downgraded to a tropical storm. The best thing about rain is the beautiful rainbows. There were even double rainbows...so cool!!

The day after the storm passed, Alyssa, Abby and I hung out at the resort while John and Katelyn went diving. We all had a nice day. John and Kate saw some cool things!

On our last day in Maui we headed out on our favorite excursion...Lanai. We took a catamaran over the the island of Lanai and spent the day snorkeling and hanging out at the beach! It is so beautiful and relaxing!

We could not have asked for a better week! We feel so blessed to be a close family and to have so much fun together!
